So, apparently I'm a horrible blogger. I just can't seem to make myself actually stop and do this, so sorry to all of you who have been hanging by a thread to hear my newest mind blowing thoughts. :-)
This weekend, Nathan and I went to Irmo to visit his family. Saturday morning we went blueberry picking with his mom. I hadn't been blueberry picking since I was a small child. I had a blast! It was weird though because I actually had full, visual memories of the last time I had gone. I must have been between 3 and 4. I remember Dad had to hold me so I could pick the berries. Between Nathan, his mom, and I, we picked 16 pounds of blueberries! (yummy pie, here I come) I think Nathan discovered his new purpose in life--holding down the tall blueberry branches that no one can reach so the rest of us could pick at lightning speed.
So, if you have any good recipes...blueberry jam, blueberry muffins, blueberry cheesecake, blueberry anything, send them my way!
